The challenge
Partial payments and late installments turn paper registers into guesswork within months.
You only learn what was collected when the recovery officer returns in the evening.
Without ageing and overdue lists, bad accounts surface only after the damage is done.
A bike needs its chassis number, a phone its IMEI, a plot its block.
Each enquiry means searching registers for one account.
Receipts get lost and disputes have no record to settle them.
How it works
On every installment sale HisabMate works out the down payment, the finance balance and the monthly schedule, and saves the buyer and the guarantor — name, phone, CNIC and address. The sale form asks for the right details for each product: chassis and engine numbers for vehicles, IMEI for mobiles, serial numbers for electronics, and plot, block and project for property.
Any amount a customer pays fills the oldest unpaid installment first, then the next, so arrears are always exact. Every payment prints a receipt, the recovery officer collects on his own route from the Android app, and the owner is alerted the moment a payment is collected.
Due today, overdue, ageing, defaulter and expected-collection reports show where the money is, and a customer’s full account appears from a search by name, CNIC or phone.
Plans are flexible: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly, split by the number of installments or by a fixed amount per installment. When a customer comes back for a second item, they stay one customer — each sale keeps its own schedule, receipts, due and overdue lines and balance, so two plans never mix, and the earlier purchases are right there.
Bigger businesses run on routes, each with its recovery man and salesman. Every role gets only the rights the owner gives it — collect installments, make sales, book sale orders, see reports — and a recovery man sees only his own route, so two officers never chase the same customer. The owner can follow recovery men on a live map, see what each one collected today in the Sales / Recovery Man report, and gets a bell the moment a payment is collected, with the amount and the customer.
A day in HisabMate
At the counter
Cash price Rs 120,000. The customer pays Rs 30,000 advance; the balance is Rs 90,000. With a 20% markup on the balance the plan is Rs 108,000 in 12 monthly installments of Rs 9,000. Buyer and guarantor are saved with name, phone, CNIC and address, and the schedule prints.
Same minute
The sale is put on Route 2. Only the recovery officer of Route 2 sees this customer in his Android app.
Month 3
The customer has paid two installments and now pays Rs 5,000. It goes to installment 3, which is marked partly paid with Rs 4,000 still due. A receipt is shared on WhatsApp and the owner’s bell rings with the amount.
Month 4
He pays Rs 13,000: Rs 4,000 closes installment 3 and Rs 9,000 pays installment 4. Arrears stay exact without anyone working them out.
Month 12
The last installment closes the account by itself, and a paid-in-full certificate prints.
Example figures only. The markup % is seen by the owner; the bill shows only the final price.
