Accounting software and business software are different jobs

QuickBooks and Zoho Books start from the books: invoices, bills, bank feeds and the reports an accountant files.

A Pakistani shop, showroom or distributor starts from the counter and the godown: a customer at the counter, a carton opened into pieces, a bike sold on 12 monthly installments with a guarantor, an order booker on a route, a 10+1 scheme. HisabMate is built around that day, in Urdu or English, and the ledgers, cash book and profit and loss follow from it.

Is QuickBooks available in Pakistan?

There is no Pakistan edition. Pakistani businesses use the global edition, and PKR works through multicurrency, which Intuit says is not on Simple Start.

Does Zoho Books have Urdu?

Urdu is not in Zoho Books’ language list. HisabMate has full Urdu screens and printouts.

Can QuickBooks or Zoho handle installment sales?

They have payment terms, partial payments and reminders. We found no installment plans with guarantors or recovery officers, which HisabMate has built in.
