IMEI Tracking for Mobile Phone Shops
In a mobile shop, the IMEI is the phone’s identity. Recording it on every sale protects the shop when a customer comes back with a claim, and makes installment phones traceable.

1. Record IMEI 1, IMEI 2 and the serial number
Dual-SIM phones have two IMEIs. Record both, plus the serial number, on the sale — not just in a notebook.

When a customer returns with a warranty or a complaint, typing the IMEI should bring up the sale, the date and the price at once.

Covers, chargers and cables are many small sales. Scan them on a quick counter, while handsets go through a detailed sale with IMEI.
